Dimensions and Sizing

The breed types listed are intended only as a rough guide as there are so many variations in
sizes across the breeds.
Measurements for the neck are taken around the base of the neck, below the collar.
The body piece measurements (chest) are taken around the rib cage behind the elbow allowing room for the elbow and shoulder to move.
We recommend stocking both sizes in the medium and large harnesses (some with the short back piece, and some with the longer x-back piece already fitted) to give you more choice
when helping your clients.
Back piece is measured from O ring on the withers to the end of the webbing by the double D rings. Dogs with a large shoulder are best suited to the extended back piece (x-back piece) in either the medium or large harness depending on their size.
