1/2 Day Loose Lead Walking Workshop

Service Description

A Loose Lead Walking Workshops with a difference. We will meet at our indoor venue where we get to know you and your dogs. We will discuss why dogs pull and how we inadvertently teach them to do this! You will learn why we don't use slip leads, no-pull harnesses, head collars, chokers, etc.; there is never a need to use pain, discomfort or fear to suppress pulling! We will then work out the kind and gentle methods that work best with your dog. Note: All methods are kind and do NOT rely on old fashioned punitive tools like slip leads, figures of 8's, head collars, choke chains or half chokers. Everybody gets the chance to practise the methods in the venue where there are limited distractions. We will then move to the great outdoors, where after a short break and refreshments, we will get the chance to progress the skills and proof them in the real world. Open to all dogs over 8 months of age that are comfortable in the presence of other dogs and handlers.
